Help Us Champion a Culture of Excellence in South Dakota

Today is the South Dakota Day of Giving; a day when nonprofits across the state come together to raise funds to support efforts to create a better tomorrow. Here at the South Dakota Hall of Fame, we are honored to showcase, preserve and share the legacies of so many amazing South Dakotans.

The South Dakota Hall of Fame has been championing a culture of excellence across the state since 1974, and in 1996 the State Legislature designated the Hall as South Dakota’s official Hall of Fame. Over the last half-century, the South Dakota Hall of Fame has inducted 772 individuals, opened a Visitor & Education Center in Chamberlain, and created diverse programming, including Legacies of Achievement (LOA), the Legends & Learning (L&L) educational program, and the Acts of Excellence (AOE) program with the mission to inspire the next generation of South Dakotans.

We do all of this as a nonprofit organization, relying solely on the support of generous donors who believe in our mission to champion a culture of excellence in South Dakota. With your financial support, we have the opportunity to grow and expand our programming to promote state-wide excellence like never before. Click here to support our mission on this day of giving.
