We are Joining Nonprofits Across the State to Participate in the South Dakota Day of Giving
The South Dakota Hall of Fame is excited to announce we are Participating in this year’s South Dakota Day of Giving on November 29.
Day of Giving, hosted by South Dakota Gives, is a day when Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations across the state unite to celebrate generosity before the sun comes up and well after the sun goes down by asking their community of supporters to, together, raise as much money as humanly possible.
The South Dakota Hall of Fame has been championing a culture of excellence across the state since 1974 and over the last half century, the South Dakota Hall of Fame has inducted over 770 individuals, opened a Visitor & Education Center in Chamberlain, and created diverse programming. This programming includes the annual Honors Ceremony, Legacies of Achievement, the Legends & Learning educational program, and the Acts of Excellence program. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our mission to inspire the next generation of South Dakotans is accomplished solely by the generous support of individuals across the state and beyond who believe in championing a culture of excellence.
On this South Dakota Day of Giving, we have our eyes set on the goal of raising $5,000 dollars. We are honored to showcase, preserve and share the legacies of so many amazing South Dakotans. With your help, we have the opportunity to expand our reach and champion a culture of excellence like never before.
