Announcing the South Dakota Hall of Fame’s 2023 Art Show

The South Dakota Hall of Fame’s Visitor & Education Center is excited to offer artists state wide the opportunity to participate in our 2023 art show, promoting artistic excellence in South Dakota. This art show will be on display during the month of June, with a free open house taking place in celebration of 605 Day on June 5, 2023.

Free to submit to, this art show is inclusive, with no age or talent restrictions. We encourage budding artists to submit their works to be displayed for the first time here in Chamberlain at the SD Hall of Fame!

As an organization, we celebrate excellence in South Dakota, and we are honored to champion the artistic expression and individuality that exists within our state’s thriving arts community.

This show is open to all forms of art–from painting utilizing all mediums, to sculptures, fiber arts, star quilts, photography, and more; we are thrilled to see the creativity that will be on display here at our Visitor & Education Center in June.

The theme for this art show is excellence in South Dakota, so we ask that submissions hold a state focus. We are excited to see the creative ways that artists express what South Dakota means to them through their work.
